About Our Teams
The Fairfax Frogs have been a vibrant part of the local community for many years. In fact, some families have multiple generations of Frogs in their family trees! We offer a welcoming, supportive and fun environment for participating children and their entire families.
The Fairfax Frogs Swim Team is one of more than 100 swim teams that compete within the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL). Our team supports the NVSL's philosophy - to develop a love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork and the principles of good sportsmanship. Our swim team is home to all: competitive year-round swimmers, dedicated developmental swimmers, spirited social swimmers and swimmers who are cross-training for another sport.
In 2019, the Frogs will compete in Division 2 of the NVSL for our dual meets ("A Meets"). Other teams competing in this division are Dowden Terrace, Hamlet, Hunt Valley, Langley and Little Rocky Run. We also offer developmental meets amongst ourselves and neighboring teams within the Woodson B League. All swimmers will have an opportunity to showcase their skills and cheer for their teammates at meets throughout the summer.
The Fairfax Frogs Dive Team is one of approximately 50 teams that compete within the NVSL's Diving League. The team is home to year-round divers as well as beginners. In addition to learning how to use the board safely, participants have an opportunity to master additional dives and compete in dive meets throughout the season - all while showing their team spirit by encouraging one another.
In 2019, the Frogs will compete in Division 1 of the NVSL's Dive Program. Other teams competing in this Division are Dunn Loring, Oakton, Overlee, Sideburn Run and Vienna Woods.
